Happy Colors

I love colors, therefore I love Christmas lights.  NOT the solid-white-fake Christmas lights.  I'm talk'n about real Christmas lights.  With bright red, blue, green, orange, yellow, and my favorite, pink! (Well... purplish pink).    Sooo... one of my friends did a post on her blog how to do those awesome Christmas light bokeh pictures.   I tried a few shots and they turned out well. :)

I took these pictures last year, but they are pretty timeless...  So therefore I'm posting them.  :) This is my amazing friend Mary.  She is so sweet and pretty, therefore, it was easy to take pictures of her.  We had a blast. :)

My Bro...

Today is my mom's birthday, so of course I needed to give her something!  But I didn't know what. Then it hit me..... pictures!  So I grabbed my camera and siblings and quickly took some snap shots.   I was happy with my brother's, I think I only took 2 photos.  Photogenic person, so not fair. :)

Union Station

Seriously, I love, love amazing architecture.  So you can imagine why I was one happy photographer when I went down to Union Station and there was like no one in the main room/hall/thingy.  Nobody in the shot to ruin my photo, happy thing!!!

Newt Gingrich

As I've said, I'm a political nut.  I simply love politics, especially around presidential elections.  So you can image why I was super excited to attend a rally where Newt Gingrich was speaking.  Yes, I know a lot of people don't like him, but this guy has a gift.  He can clearly define the problem and the solution in such understandable way you really can't miss his point.  I truly enjoy listening to this intelligent man.

Meriah: Portrait

Ok, this girl is amazing, she's one of my bestest, best friends and we've known each other almost our whole lives.  To make it even better, she's VERY VERY pretty!  Also, she has the most enchanting eyes...  a mysterious blue that sometimes change colors.  Well enough bragging about this amazing girl, I'll let you see her for yourself. :)
