Learning Macro

I unfortunately do not have a macro lens at the moment.  : (  Big bummer.  One of my friends though showed me a trick that enabled me to take macro shots, without spending $1,000.  ; )  I was thrilled to get pictures of the smaller world.

Salt Shaker

A small flower (about an inch long) on a mirror with a lightbulb in the background.

Dried Rose Petal

Earring

Hoop Earring

Decorative Snowflake

Fingerprint on Mirror

Jeweled Hair Clip

Butterfly

I love this butterfly picture, but I gotta tell you it is SO HARD (at least out here in the Midwest) to get a picture of a Monarch butterfly with it's wings open.  I chased those things for 45 minutes.  Yeah, a nut moment, but I got the picture. ; D

Spider Webs

I think spider webs are so cool.   Well... except when I walk into one. ;)  I took these pictures a while ago, but I still enjoy them. : )
