Stars

I decided since I semi conquered photographing the moon I decided to try shooting the stars. ; D  I went outside, tried and failed.  So I ran back inside to my computer and did some quick research and tried again.  Then I took a few shots I was happy with.

Moon

I'm sorry to say I've never been able to get a really good picture of the moon.  I tried several weeks ago and wasn't pleased with the results and rather gave up on it.  The other day though, I saw one of my friend's moon pictures and it was REALLY good.  She told me what she did and I was determined to give it another go.  So I did some quick research and found out I was overexposing the previous time.   Here are a couple successful shots from my last endeavor.

First Post

 This is my first post for Olivia J Photography.  Since it's January, winter photos seems appropriate.  I prefer taking portraits but most of these are pictures of animals; which are a close second. : )
